About Me

Hi, my name is Nicole!

I am a creative strategy professional with 15+ years of experience in art studies and a formal education in marketing. My calling to the art world started in childhood with incredible capacity to receive art with great sensitivity and understanding.

My journey in art began with drawing, painting, and art history AP courses, while building up my artist portfolio. Unsure of where my art style would fit in an evolving landscape, I left my small hometown and ventured into earning my Bachelor's in Marketing & Advertising with a minor in Art History from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business. 

While planning for a corporate career in branding, fate led me to a well-known New York art gallery, where I was hired as Fine Art Consultant, and experienced first-hand consumer behavior with art. Though my focus was on sales and branding, I found that many artists walked into the gallery with earnest intent and big dreams. I found myself organically advising artists seeking insight as to how to position themselves in what can be, a very saturated and unclear art market world.  Faces would light up in response to the advice I shared. And that's how PAX Co. started.
